Some Demolition is progressing. I'm not doing anything major yet, just removing finishes, some walls and windows. I really need to get permits before something bad happnes. Murphy tends to show up about now.
Anyway, here is the kitchen and upstairs bath in progress. I remember how much fun this was 5 years ago, but am still glad that someone else is doing the majority of the grunt work.
Below is the North unit's main living space looking at the stairs. We're tearing out a little more plaster than I had anticipated, but that will ultimately help out in wiring and so forth. The stair railing was already pretty much missing, so I'm having them torn out completely and replaced with something else, hopefully steel if I can afford it.
You can see here the rear of the house with existing bathroom windows removed completely. The bath section will be expanded on each side to accomodate a new one-piece bath / shower unit, a double vanity and a toilet.
